TK’s Cheat Day started in North Carolina as a way to solve a familiar problem—how to feed a busy family without sacrificing flavor. What began as simple meal preps quickly gained traction, and when Tim & Kris moved back home to Florida, they brought the vision with them.
With Tim’s love for bold, indulgent food and Kris’s passion for people, TK’s Cheat Day has grown into more than just meal prep. Today, they serve up comfort food at food truck events, pop-ups, catering gigs, and still help families eat well—without the stress.
Chef Ellis
Born and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina, Chef Ellis found his way to Orlando through the Disney College Program in 2023—and never looked back. Now the chef at TK’s Cheat Day, Ellis blends his Southern BBQ roots with bold Asian influences, a tribute to his family heritage: his father from the American South and his mother from Hong Kong.
While food has always been a passion, Ellis’s true calling is investing in others—through teaching, mentoring, and one day, running his own restaurant. Every dish he serves is a chance to connect, share culture, and inspire.
